about us

Homes of Hope is an incorporated association established in September 2015 by seven dedicated and passionate people to setup a facility and program on the Sunshine Coast to help restore vulnerable fractured families.

Homes of Hope is about providing a home environment where families are supported, enabling them to stay together whilst the parents develop parenting, living, social, emotional and financial skills.
This is achieved through an innovative and therapeutic community-based program which helps foster healthy, functional family units and supports their integration back into the community.
Our Values

/ FUN
We believe that throwing fun and enjoyment into the mix of life helps us to gain perspective during challenging times, to not to take ourselves and others too seriously, and to celebrate successes.
A cheerful heart is
good medicine..
Proverb 17:22a
/ FAITH
We believe that faith in God is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living.
In relationship with Him one’s identity can be formed, life can have meaning and purpose, and hope for the present and the future can be experienced.
I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace as you trust in him. Then you will have more
and more hope, and it will flow out of you by the power of
the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
/ FUTURE
"Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards."
Soren Kierkegaart
We believe that life’s difficulties and the circumstances that may cause us pain need not keep us trapped in a life of hurt.
By making good choices, and with the help of others we can walk in freedom from our past and enjoy new and fulfilling ways of life.
For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

our mission

To see vulnerable families restored by providing successful and renowned therapeutic community based services. To provide a therapeutic community program for families in a loving, safe and secure environment.
Homes of Hope focuses on empowering parents to create a healthy functional family unit, and support their integration back into the community as contributing citizens to society.
What we do

Homes of Hope is a charitable organisation of Sunshine Coast locals, working with other local organisations as the need arises.
Our goal is to help restore vulnerable fractured families by providing them with a home where families stay together and parents develop parenting, living, social, emotional and financial skills through an innovative and therapeutic community-based program. The program will help foster healthy functional family units and support their integration back into the community.

There is no other facility in the Sunshine Coast area where parents, whose children have previously been removed from them and placed in foster care or who are at risk of their children being removed, are able to have their children stay with them while participating in rehabilitation programs.
Homes of Hope is also innovative because it is a holistic approach that will develop parents’ parenting, living, social, emotional and financial skills, incorporating internationally renowned and successful Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) to address the underlying issues of addiction, domestic violence, trauma and neglect.
